1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
1.1. Intermediary Platform: Emax4u Ventures acts as a technology marketplace that connects users seeking home services (Salon, Wellness, Repairs, Cleaning, etc.) with independent, background-verified professionals (“Service Professionals”).
1.2. Service Delivery: The actual services are provided by the Service Professionals. While Emax4u ensures vetting and quality training, the contract for the service is ultimately between the User and the Service Professional.
2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
2.1. Pricing: Prices listed on the website are fixed. However, for repair services (Electrician, Plumber, etc.), the final price may vary based on the scope of work identified during the inspection. Any additional costs (spare parts, extra labor) must be approved by the User via the Platform.
2.2. Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, and Wallets through our secure third-party Payment Gateway partners.
2.3. Taxes: All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1. Cancellation by User:
a. 0-2 Hours before slot: Users may cancel a booking free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.
b. Within 2 Hours: A cancellation fee of [e.g., ₹100 or 10% of order value] may apply to compensate the professional for their travel time.
3.2. Cancellation by Professional: If a Service Professional cancels, we will assign a replacement immediately. If no replacement is found, a full refund will be initiated.
3.3. Refunds: Refunds for cancelled orders or unsatisfactory services (subject to investigation) will be processed to the original source of payment. Timeline: Refunds are typically credited within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
4. USER CONDUCT AND SAFETY
4.1 Safe Environment: Users must provide a safe and dignified environment for the Service Professional. Any form of verbal or physical abuse will result in an immediate ban from the Platform and legal action.
4.2. Wellness/Salon Services: For safety reasons, cross-gender massage services are strictly prohibited. Emax4u reserves the right to refuse service if the gender criteria are not met or if inappropriate behavior is observed.
4.3. Direct Dealing: Users agree not to pay the Service Professional in cash (bypassing the App) for future jobs. Doing so voids all service warranties and safety guarantees provided by Emax4u.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
5.1.Service Warranty: We provide a service warranty of 7 days for repairs and cleaning. If the issue persists, we will re-work it free of cost.
5.2. Damages: While our professionals are trained and insured, in the unlikely event of damage to property (e.g., a broken TV screen during installation), Emax4u Ventures’ liability is limited to [e.g., ₹10,000 or the value of the service booking, whichever is lower]. We recommend users secure high-value items before service begins.
